On June 18, the Shenzhen Municipal Government held a press conference to announce the launch of the inaugural Shenzhen Citywide Arts Season, which will officially begin on June 24, 2025. The event aligns with the directives of the Third Plenary Session of the 20th CPC Central Committee, specifically the call to “optimize the supply mechanism of cultural services and products.”
Under the theme “Blossom in Shenzhen, Bloom with Art”, the arts season will span six months and feature a vibrant lineup of 20 signature events and 195 activities across six themed cultural and artistic series. With a multidimensional, matrix-style programming approach, this initiative aims to provide Shenzhen residents with a rich and immersive artistic experience throughout the city.
