Shenzhen Metro Line 1 Baishizhou Station Exit A to Temporarily Close for Construction

Shenzhen, March 18 – The Shenzhen Metro Group has announced that Exit A of Baishizhou Station on Metro Line 1 will be temporarily closed from March 18, 2025, to December 31, 2025, to accommodate new metro line construction in the area. The reopening schedule will depend on on-site construction progress.

During this period, passengers can continue to access the station through other entrances, which will remain open as usual. Commuters are advised to plan their routes accordingly and allow extra travel time if needed.

Baishizhou Station, located in one of Shenzhen’s busiest transit hubs, serves thousands of daily commuters, making this temporary closure a significant but necessary measure to support the city’s expanding metro network.

The Shenzhen Metro Group urges passengers to follow on-site signage and stay updated through official metro announcements. The construction project is expected to enhance connectivity and improve the overall efficiency of Shenzhen’s public transportation system.
